“Light comes through the mind

and Illuminates the whole body.

When all things within you are integrated,

your light will shine everywhere.”

“When the light within is sheltered from the wind,

the yogi who is perfect in concentration

realizes the Self.

He is then a lamp

that does not flicker.”

Fret not where the road will take you.

Instead, concentrate on the first step.

That’s the hardest part

and that’s what you are responsible for.

Once you take that step

let everything do

what it naturally does

and the rest will follow.

Do not go with the flow.

Be the flow.

Patience does not mean

to passively endure.

It means to be farsighted enough

to trust the end result of a process.

What does patience mean?

It means to look at the thorn

and see the rose,

to look at the night

and see the dawn.

Impatience means

to be so shortsighted

as to not be able to see the outcome.

The lovers of God

never run out of patience,

for they know that time is needed

for the crescent moon to become full.

Water does not resist.

Water flows.

When you plunge your hand into it,

all you feel is a caress.

Water is not a solid wall,

it will not stop you.

But water always goes

where it wants to go,

and nothing in the end

can stand against it.

Water is patient.

Dripping water wears away a stone.

Remember that, my child.

Remember you are half water.

If you can’t go through an obstacle,

go around it.

Water does.

The two hardest tests

on the spiritual road

are the patience

to wait for the right moment

and the courage

not to be disappointed

with what we encounter.

Faith dispels doubt and hesitation,

it liberates you from suffering

and delivers you

to the city of peace and happiness.

“People usually consider walking on water

or in thin air a miracle.

But I think the real miracle

is not to walk either on water or in thin air,

but to walk on earth.

Every day we are engaged in a miracle

which we don’t even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds,

green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child –

– our own two eyes.

All is a miracle.”

“The source of love is deep in us

and we can help others realize a lot of happiness.

One word, one action,

one thought

can reduce another person’s suffering

and bring that person joy.”
